The Heat is Rising

The coolest place in the kitchen is about to become the hottest … as we unleash Chantico, the Aztec goddess of fire.

The sound of tribal drums and chanting will call to you from behind the fridge door, because this cheddar is going to turn up the heat with flaming Jalapeños and sweet chillies.

These ‘little red devils’ - as we affectionately call them - may just be flecks within this moreish cheese, but with every spicy bite they buzz and tingle…tempting you to take them on again.

With a flavour as warming as the tropical rainforests where the Aztecs worshipped their fire goddess, Chantico is a cheese that will spice up any sandwich, every burger and make jacket potatoes feel like erupting volcanoes.

So remember, when you see flaming orange and roaring red on your fridge shelf, enter this realm carefully... for she is there in all her blazing glory. Waiting for her next willing follower to join ‘The disciples of the fiery flavour’.

A Moreish Cheddar with a Fiery Temper

Scouring the world, Wensleydale has sourced legendary ingredients from both near and far to capture the spirit of South America…and in particular Mexico. With every bite customers will be able to taste: diced sweet chilli pepper, flecks of jalapeño pepper, sprinkles of green herbs, and creamy, coloured cheddar.

The bright red colour imbued by the chillies gives CHANTICO a strong presence in the fridge units compared to other brands. And to ensure the most radical appearance possible, CHANTICO herself has been brought to life through an illustrated character unique to The Creamery, Hawes.
